The Elgin Police Department is seeking information on a robbery suspect that struck four times in October and November.
The first robbery occurred on October 16, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. at The Main Stop located at 511 N. Main Street Elgin, TX.
On October 23, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. the suspect attempted to rob Carter’s Grocery located at 1301 N Avenue C Elgin TX. The robber was unsuccessful and fired two shots from a shotgun during this attempt. No one was injured.
The suspect returned to this location on October 24, 2014 at approximately 6:20 a.m. and successfully robbed the store/clerk.
The most recent robbery occurred on November 23, 2014 at about 8:15 p.m. at the Citgo Food Mart located at 301 S. Main Street Elgin TX.
In each case the suspect is clothed completely, including gloves and a mask so no detailed description exists. The suspect is tall and thin and is most probably a late teen or early 20 year old male. The suspect is always armed with a long gun.
